Cenotaph to 5 Pointz was a competition entry for the Socrates Sculpture Park for their Summer Folly Competition. My design was a funerary monument to the graffiti mecca, 5 Pointz in Long Island City, Queens. The intent was to create a miniature, spiraling Tower of Babel. My use of the Tower was my form of protest where the weak overcome the powerful in the resurrection of 5Pointz as the Tower.
