Planning choices are the direct results of the urban situation imposed by the city PRG.
Positions of the road layouts and spacing are fixed by PRG, in the same manner it is imposed that the western area has to be used as green area.
Fixing the need of nice green areas as a basic idea, the western area is designed as a urban vegetables garden with trees and small wooden structures for the deposit of the cultivation tools: these areas are
collective ones.
The eastern area will be divided into two different zones with more or less the same dimensions: the first one will be planned as a collective space with a public building, the second one can hold residential buildings with nearby service spaces and gardens.
The public area is planned to create a small structure that able to hold a cyclingworkshop, with its outdoor spaces, and a front square with large green area.
The cycling-workshop is composed by an entrance with a bar court and the repair area to handling vehicles, in the north part of the building there is a range of services.
The structure is made with a metal frame and has stratified dry vertical partitions with ventilated facade of wooden slats; it has a roof garden, fully accessible, and two areas of PV systems, one with amorphous silicon non-oriented panels and another one with thermal - photovoltaic panels, which can produce energy to supply the energy demand of the nearby residential building.
The available area useful to land residential buildings is really narrow, moreover this circumstance our customer needs public dictated planning choices to plan one structure with a single base on which there are three blocks.
The building houses on the ground floor commercial areas and the common areas of the student residence of upper level.
The first level holds the rooms of the student residence, with 20 beds, and a small library with study rooms; on the extreme sides of the structure there are private apartments.
The three blocks, that are grafted on the base of two floors, contain 36 apartments with different sizes: all of these units are designed to have lodges on the external facades.
The services of the building complex and parking lots are located on two underground levels, in which you have to divide the whole space into business area from the parking lots for apartments.
The building constructive method follows the same manner of cycling-workshop: all fronts are processed through ventilated façades with vertical wooden slats, moreover windows enhance the vertical axis in order to change the building view.
