Mysterious Places

Mysterious Places,

Mysterious Places is a series of painted steel public art proposals designed to inspire the visitors to create stories about what they are and how they got there. All are designed to suggest a purposeful reason for their existence. The specific purpose however was not originally a conscience part of their creation. The elements that make up the construction of each of them suggest that there is a very specific reason for their existence within the whole construction. Some of the Mysterious places can actually be entered through various staircases built into the structures.

Mysterious Place photo one and two might refer to some sort of futuristic observatory. Photos three and four might appear to be a gigantic detection device of some kind. Photos five and six might suggest this Mysterious Place is some kind of future monument. Perhaps photos seven and eight could refer to the existence of a sacred ceremonial pavilion whose function is unknown. Photos nine and ten might inspire one to interpret this Mysterious Place as some kind of super solar energy collection and storage plant. Photos eleven and twelve could suggest to the visitors that this Mysterious Place might have been constructed as some kind of alien visitation locator.

In all cases, the intention was to design special places that have never been seen before and as a result, function as public gathering place that will be intriguing to the visitors for many years to come.
