Well, we're back at it. We had the studio presentations yesterday, ballots were due at 3pm, and today the studio assignments are posted at 1:30pm. Exciting, yes?

And now, here is a picture of what it's like to ride the bus to school in the morning:

    On the bus in Vancouver!

Also, I bought myself a digital camera over Christmas holidays. Since I didn't have one before, it made blog posts quite a task. Life will be much easier now.

I love you all. Work hard this term, all my friends in academia, industry and other endeavours.

I just bought a 5 mgapixel cannon powershot A95 at buydig.com for 290 US Dollars. You should check it out. If its too much, the powershot A75 is 3 megapixels and is running about $175 dollars.

You should be able to get up to 5 megapixel for about $300 USD, as per Brian's post. Check www.dpreview.com for reviews and such. That site is a lifesaver. My camera is an Olympus C-8080. I got it for $900 CAN brand new: 8 megapixels, and a 28-140mm SLR equivalent lens. It's replacing my film SLR, which is a Canon EOS A2, in case anyone's interested in buying it...

The Vancouver transit system, although perhaps creepy, is wonderful. I live in a good location, so I take transit everywhere...

I bought at Sony DSC-P120 (P100 but black with case and extra battery) it 5.1 megapixel, with a Carl Zeiss lens. Great little camera, compact and rather stylish, I haven't used it much yet, but very impressed with it so far. I love sony products, they always seem to know what they're doing.

I bought it from Amazon for £210 GBP, sorry I haven't got a clue what it retails for in the US or Canada. But I recommend it wholeheartedly.
