Objective: 

To design and develop a complete project that is reasonably constructible.

Program: 

The new ballet facility is located at the western edge of the Deep Ellum Distric in Dallas, TX between two busy urban corridors, Commerce Street and Main Street, while facing the major arteries, Good Latimer Expressway and the highway above. The building contains two large ballet rooms, two small ballet rooms, changing rooms, physiotherapy rooms, and an educational floor open to the public with membership access. 

Design Intent: 

The intention of the design is to address the interference to and from the surroundings, offer a functional and seamless program sequence to the everyday ballet dancer but also to the occasional visitor, and to play an active role within its contextual environment and the culture of the community.
