The Challenging space was redesigned to accommodate a bedroom and more storage space. The bedroom is separated from the rest of the space by a curtain which tucks inside the closet when not
in use. The curtain will be installed at a later stage per the client’s request. When the bedroom opens to the living room, the bed can be used as additional seating. The Color scheme was dark wenge wood with blues and oranges. Floor was changed to bleached wood in contrast with the wenge and sharp blue and orange colors.New and fun materials like 3Form resin and Panelite were experimented. Dynamic wallpaper was used making the space lively yet warm. Spaces saver furniture was used such as the flou twin bed which unfolds into double twin bed when needed and a dining table which unfolds into a 6 seats instead of a four.
