The project was a $5M high end exterior/interior renovation of 43,000 sqft built up area on 2.4 acres. The existing building 'Occupational Safety and Health Institute' was fully renovated to become Hasib Sabbagh Regional Academy for Health, Safety and Environmental Studies. New buildings and extensions were added to the existing site to accommodate the required space program.The exterior of the building was cladded with Trespa, metal louvers, different types of Jordanian stone and plaster. The result was a distinguished building yet blending with its surrounding.
The interior of the building was gut renovated. All spaces and MEP systems were redesigned to fit the new requirements. Interior of the main public spaces such as lobbies, library and conference room were designed to give a warm and welcoming educational environment.
