[2014-2016]

The pan Asian restaurant for the Iron Chef Morimoto at Disney Springs, Orlando Florida, opened in September of 2016.  The restauranteur group, Patina Group, was the client who commissioned Studio V to design their 1st restaurant at newly developed Disney Springs.  Throughout the complex the design pays homage to the industrial history of the existing space and adds a strong contemporary twist.  Most exemplary of this aesthetic is how the grit of the old bottling factory's facade interrupted by a triple-height wall of windows and how the old conveyor belts of the factory are re-imagined as a zigzagging and spiraling chandelier of illuminated glass bottles inspired from the old bottling company.  The centerpiece of the design is a dramatic sculptural bar, which spirals through the thirty-six feet high dining room connecting multiple levels.  The sculptural bar links together the first floor bar, the maitre'd and curves around grand stairway to the upper mezzanine lounge and bar.
