This study entered into the fantastical realm of socialist monumental architecture, hypothetically displaced into the United States' iconic democratic space: Camp David. The objective was to replace existing structures of Camp David, as well as their programs, with a particular sculptural socialist architecture. In this case, two guardhouses and the barriers restricting access to Camp David are replaced by two entities that retain formal characteristics of the Sutjeska Monument located in Tjentište. Additionally, a subterranean connection was provided as a means for security personnel to access both guardhouses without having to exit the facility, and was achieved through manipulating the topography of the road itself.
