Fry’s (Kroger) - FRY681 Chandler, AZ

This was a Kroger ground-up new store, Fry’s branch, with a drive-thru pharmacy. One of our primary concerns on this project was coordinating between the Kroger-directed nationwide standards and the specific regional deviations needed for a Fry’s project. We integrated a different patio sales area and dock layouts to accommodate Fry’s sales needs, as well as integrating additional trellis elements at the entry to deal with the Arizona climate.

As the Kroger national brand rolled out updated store design directives, we were responsible for getting full or partial buy-in from the specific Kroger PMs, and tracking those directives’ incorporation into each store. In addition to tracking those incremental client-driven updates, we were also responsible for coordinating RFI responses and submittal review during Bid & CA.
