The process of realizing this project is based on the selection of a site within the city and its urban analysis, in order to generate the parameters for an educated proposal. In this instance, the neighborhood of Chapinero, in disarray due to its lack of public space, the amount of people that traverse its streets daily, and its predominantly deteriorated construction, requires a comprehensive intervention in the built environment: new organization of its public transportation, new infrastructure, and new buildings that give order and supple the needs of its inhabitants.
The proposal therefore consists in recuperating the former public space of the main neighborhood plaza and a new building that concurs with the urban fabric of the main street and offers new work and commercial spaces, as well as parking, pedestrian space and new green zones.
