This was the first project I worked on at AECOM. A 10,000 seat multi-purpose arena run by MEC in Chicago and the main home to the Blue Demons of DePaul University.
We, as AECOM, were consultant sports architects to the prestigious design lead firm Pelli Clarke Pelli.
The main inspiration was a combination of Mies van De Rohe and the Public house theaters of Chicago.
