04 Walton street is a regency period terrace house located in Chelsea, one of the most affluent inner city areas of London, England. The house is in close proximity to Oxford street in London.  As a listed building (a protected building due to its historical significance) changing the pitch of the mansard roof was a particularly contentious issue with the Kensington and Chelsea planning department.  

Here I was responsible for creating a 3D model to represent the existing appearance of the property. Images of the proposed mansard roof were then shown beside the existing to attempt to persuade the planning authority that the proposed would have little affect on the historical integrity of the property. Therefore, as a team we were seeking approval of the planners for permission to proceed with onsite construction of the proposed mansard roof.
