The objective was to design a fire place to be displayed at the exhibition for the 'Design with fire competition - 2012 IIDex/Neocon Canada Conference and Exhibition'.
The fire place represents the movement of earth and rock during a volcanic eruption. Using the imagery of molten lava, the fire would spread from beneath the surface of the granite fire place.
