We worked with the neighborhood Association for a few months in this CS (Commercial-Special) zoning district to negotiate finishes, but they were supportive of the project.  Halfway through, IHG updates the brand requirements and we had to modify all the drawings to comply.  We had contracts and permits in hand; even the drainage system was in place.  The Owner put the project on indefinite hold, however, due to concerns about profitability during the pandemic.
