My project was essentially a transformation of textiles taken from many different nations that helped shape the culture of Houston into an architectural response. The project began with two different schemes that went through a variety of phases, evolving over time and leading to a final conclusion with the initial concept of having an interwoven structural system that also functioned as a light filtration system to allow for a variety of light densities throughout the structure.
