Study of the patologies of an ancient building in the centre of Madrid, realized in a Course on "Analisys, quality control and patologies of building structures".

The building is located in a quite degraded area of the  centre of Madrid. It was built in 1830, and have suffered some refurbishments since then; but, due to the poor economic situation of the neighbours, it has been greatly deteriorated. However, due to its antiquity, the main stairs are protected by the Planning Regulations of Town Hall of Madrid.

The work here developed, wanted to detect the existing pathologies in those stairs, as well as their origin and their causes, with the purpose of giving the most appropriate solutions for each case.
