Platform for Architecture + Research is a Los Angeles architecture office dedicated to bringing research and imagination to the built environment. Established in 2003, PAR is comprised of a collaborative team led by principal Jennifer Marmon. PAR has been recognized through prizes including the Presidential Emerging Practice Award from the American Institute of Architects Los Angeles in 2014, International Architecture Awards in 2012 and 2014 and American Architect Awards in 2013 and 2016. The work of the firm has been featured in exhibitions at the Venice Architecture Biennale, the US National Building Museum, the New York Center for Architecture, the European Center for Architecture, and in publications including MARK, Architect, Concept, Form and DAMDI. In Fall 2017, Relations, an exhibition devoted to PAR's work, was on view at the Aedes Architecture Forum in Berlin. The exhibition provided insight into their architectural universe through the presentation of nine recent projects.
