Amongst this lie talks and walks, which make the most of the May light and weather, and rounding out the week is the monthly TATE late and the start of half-term activities.

Clerkenwell Design Week | 22-24 May
Clerkenwell Design Week returns for its ninth year celebrating makers and creators in the heart of the capital. This district of design's few days of opened doors is a highlight of the calendar, with studios and showrooms alike welcoming in the public and fellow professionals in the industry.
Architecture on Film: Columbus + Kogonada Q&A | 24 May
Last year's Archinect Sessions podcast featured discussion with Kogonada, the writer and director of the critically-acclaimed film Columbus. This showing of the debut feature which is set in the Midwestern 'Modernist Mecca', Columbus, will be shown in London's brutalist Barbican Centre, and will be followed by a Skype Q&A with director Kogonada.
May Half-Term at V&A | from 26 May
If you have young ones to look after during next week's school holidays, the V&A is packed full of things to keep them entertained, starting on Saturday. The programme planned to engage youngsters runs until 1 June, and will encourage them to use their senses, create sculptures, work with materials, and look at future design.
May's iteration of the Uniqlo Tate Lates is frames around the current Picasso exhibition which showcases Picasso's prolific year of creativity. Workshops include a reflection of this flurry of creation by asking participants to create as many paintings and portraits as possible against the clock.
