A list floats on Twitter.
According to coreformula (I can't find verification anywhere else...) the finalists are:
so-li: http://so-il.org/
BIG: http://www.big.dk/
freecell: http://www.frcll.com
Easton+Combs: http://www.eastoncombs.com/
William O’Brien Jr.: http://sap.mit.edu/resources/portfolio/obrien/
First time the list goes international? (via core.form-ula

BIG as a competitor in this sounds a bit strange.
if you don't count forsyth + macallen, cho slade and servo as international, then yes...
i agree, helsinki. isn't BIG a little too ... um .... BIG for PS1? would like to see it remain the launching pad it's been in the past.
<singing>One of these things is not like the others...<stop singing>
well, i do thought PS1 was always focus in local or at least national (American) young gunz, i dunno what Bjarke is doing there, i actually also don't think Bjarke would be interested in the PS1 pavilion, as his office name shows, he loves to think BIG, so PS1 doesn't sound like a commission he will look for... maybe the Serpentine, but PS1?
MAdianito,
The discussion the PS1 generates plus the exposure on "main stream" NY media (NYT, TNY, etc) makes it big at least in strategy.
At least it worked very good for MOS last summer...
David i think MOS project gain credibility thanks to the release of "Where the Wild Things Are" (hehehe).
