In doing press for the film, Jonze has repeatedly credited New York architects Elizabeth Diller and Ricardo Scofidio, AIA, founding principals of Diller Scofidio + Renfro, with helping him devise the feel of his settings. Diller took time to chat with ARCHITECT about the film, as well as the uncanny qualities of the near-future and why she generally prefers murder stories to sci-fi. — architectmagazine.com

This is so offensive coming from Liz Diller right now. Hanging out in Hollywood while FAM crumbles. #folkmoma
The problem with architects hanging out with the elite is that they eventually start acting like them.
Great idea Donna! Celebrate a museum that failed to function as a museum. People admire it from a distance, but for those of us who live in the city and have visited the FAM, you never made a second visit to this dark and depressing space. In all seriousness, it would have made a great mausoleum.
So Donna, knock off the class wars and maybe consider celebrating buildings designed for their intended function and not for their "style" and ego.
It functioned fantastically for a small, intimate experience with the small scaled art that it housed. If you only prefer Big White Boxes, dubya, then you'll enjoy the new MOMA.
Archinect. Please don't publish for Diller Scofidio anymore, irresponsible hacks that they are.
great movie *spoiler alert* it starts with an alarm going off
This link reeks of publicist positioning. That said, I love the movie and love the aesthetic. I do not love the folk art museum. I still think they should keep it, and the world is more interesting if they do. The DSR proposal for MOMA is the most half-hearted proposal I've ever seen, its as if they are trying to make it bad on purpose...
The movie's levels don't line up. They should tear it down.
