A reliable source provided us with some official blueprints for the Apple Campus 2 yesterday, and these are just a few of the images that illustrate the mammoth building currently being planned in Cupertino, Calif. A single one of these slides leaked out today, so we are putting these up now; we are resizing and still have to watermark. — 9to5mac.com
Firms credited on the drawings include Foster and Parters, ARUP, OLIN and Davis Langdon.

Another master piece from Foster.
Hmm. Is it just me, or are a lot of these spaces kind of too ...normal to bother rendering? (I don't want to use the word banal because they aren't that, just...normal.) They seem perfectly nice, but it isn't as though there's any amazing design detail in quite a few of those - why bother spending the time to render some of these? Hmm.
From the looks of these, they aren't renderings for public consumption but produced for a client meeting and are meant to probably address specific issues the client has in mind. No finishes so you don't have to talk about some weird predilection of an individual.
Seems like this was an intern getting out of the summer job and trying to make a few bucks as it is dated July 11th, 2012, and say "concept development" and are only being released now.

Yep I agree, am aware of that. They just don't seem to show much content. I can't imagine what discussion some of these would have fueled around the client meeting conference table... "so... this is a window... you might want to put a potted plant in here... here are some people at a desk... there is a skylight overhead as you will see..."
I guess I should have said - the quality level of the rendering, and effort put in, doesn't seem justified by the little content conveyed. Some quick sketches would have gotten the point of a lot of these interior renderings across equally well. I do think the line of the exterior of the building (convex side and concave side; entry location) is well served by the explicit and detailed rendering. I guess I just personally wouldn't have put the same effort into these interiors, which are pretty early in the design process and don't show much. To each his own!
my guess is - since it is apple HQ and it will be knocked off by someone in Asia, why not give the forgers false information that is just not that great, ha
