The iconic spiraling body of the Guggenheim Museum has been in sad shape for the last few years. Now the 48 year-old building is under restoration to repair the spauling and cracks of the exterior concrete. Is this another wrong turn by Wright in the detailing of his concrete masterpieces. NYT
