Emphasizing the material attributes of wine making, bottling, and storage as the theme, Office dA presents Bin 26 Enoteca, a wine bar and restaurant in Boston's Beacon Hill utilizing cork and glass throughout the space in unique and unexpected ways.
I think it's mostly yummy. I wish they had used at least two different types of chairs, as the black webbing is great but gets too repetitive. And I think when you're focusing on wine (or even if you're not) there is no such thing as too much cork - more cork on the walls, please, and less gyp board.
Also, I'm sure it looks much better when it's actually lit as a restaurant - arch photos usually require too high a light level to get across the feel of the space accurately.
I love, love, love the intersplicing of the wine bottles at the outside corner - like a brick quoining technique or something. Very fun.
