Today the Phaeno Science Center, her new science museum, opens in Wolfsburg, Germany. It was designed around the idea of a magic box, to awaken a patron's curiosity and sense of discovery. Next week she will inaugurate design.05 Miami, an exhibition of contemporary design organized with Art Basel Miami Beach, with a site-specific installation called Elastika, which will be in the atrium of the Moore Building at 191 N.E. 40th Street, from Dec. 1 to 5.
