Best Architecture Masters (BAM) has released the 2024 edition of their world rankings. In total, 18 degree programs were selected to be included in the rankings, chosen by what the organizers call an “expert committee, formed by 10 professors from some of the best-ranked universities.” 

As with previous years, American Ivy League institutions feature heavily in the rankings, with Harvard GSD’s Master of Architecture II program taking home the first place spot for the sixth consecutive year. Columbia, MIT, Princeton, Cornell, UCLA, and SCI-Arc are other U.S. institutions included in the ranking.

The 2024 rankings largely align with the 2023 rankings released over one year ago. No new programs were added, and the only program removed was MIT’s Master of Science in Architecture Studies in Design. Princeton, Cornell, and UCLA rose in the 2024 rankings versus last year, as did TU Delft, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya, and the Universidade de São Paulo.
