Recipients of the J. Irwin and Xenia S. Miller Prize and University Design Research Fellows (UDRF) have been announced for the fifth cycle of Exhibit Columbus ahead of next year’s event in Columbus, Indiana.
Each will produce installations responding to the previously announced theme 'Yes, And', which calls for participants to "work from existing materials to shape positive change.”
The four Miller Prize recipients will work with a paired institution at sites around the city to create installations that serve as the focal point of the 2025 exhibition. They include:
Five curatorial partners were able to choose from 50 submissions to a national open-call. The six teams they selected will each expand on current research efforts while matched with a local organization. They include:
A two-day symposium will take place across three sites in downtown Columbus and include a feature discussion with the Miller Prize recipients and UDRF group on October 24th and 25th. Further details will be announced next week on the Exhibit Columbus website.
