The Kent State University College of Architecture and Environmental Design (CAED) has shared its events and programming for the Fall term as part of our Get Lectured series.
The semester has already included lectures from guests John Humphries and Ilmar Hurkxkens. BRANDT : HAFERD founder Jerome Haferd will follow them on October 10, followed by Rice University assistant professor and HOME-OFFICE co-founder Brittany Utting on October 16. The month ends with Nader Tehrani's visit to campus to deliver the Perspectus Lecture on October 23.
November will kick off with the Desires for Praxis: Between Practice and Education Symposium featuring Nasrine Seraji-Bozorgzad, University of Pennsylvania’s Nanako Umemoto, the University of Minnesota’s Architecture Head Jennifer Yoos, the new Chair of Architecture at UC Berkeley CED Lisa Iwamoto, and new UT Austin School of Architecture dean Heather Woofter from November 6-7.
They are followed by a lecture from Scroggin Studio’s Jason Scroggin on November 13. Finally, the semester concludes with Dana Cuff's lecture on November 16. Each event will be made available via Zoom.
