After the World Architecture Festival just announced its 2022 shortlist featuring the best new projects, the program's sister event, the World Festival of Interiors (INSIDE 2022), has now revealed the finalists of the interior design competition.
Highlighting outstanding interiors ranging from hotels, workplaces, public buildings, and restaurants, this year's shortlist includes 65 projects from across the globe. According to INSIDE program director Paul Finch, this year's selection "focused on the flow of users in the interior space, with use of lobbies, landings, and stairs for social and learning engagement."

"We reviewed everything from the fabulous to the austere and found much to admire. Trends in this year’s entries ranged from the small to the large scale and included the increasing deployment of wood in both structural and decorative ways; the use of spiral staircases to improve circulation; insertion of nature, including use of internal trees; and an increasing interest in the creative re-use of historic buildings, many of them industrial," Finch commented.

The World Architecture Festival and INSIDE World Festival of Interiors will take place at the FIL exhibition center in Lisbon, Portugal, from November 30 – December 2, 2022. Click here to learn more.

If the first image from Italy is a color photo then the space&light is really exciting with grey tones. But, if it is a b&w pic, not so much, just a good picture.
The image from Istanbul works both as looking up or at eye level parallel to the ground. Sculpturally well-controlled and precision photo.
Could be wrong but doesn't look b&w to me.
