Last week, our editorial team highlighted an exciting job opening to work as a Treehouse Designer. This week, renowned American theater company Spiegelworld is searching for an Interior Architect or Interior Designer for a remote position with their team.
Based in Las Vegas, Spiegelworld was founded in 2006 and describes itself as a "quirkforce of 300+ organizers, agitators, dreamers, doers, insiders, outsiders and iconoclasts of every flavor, on a mission to make the world a more art-filled, inspired and playful place, one unforgettable memory at a time."
The successful candidate for this specific interior designer or interior architect position will join the company's Internal Creative Team (ICT). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, conducting research and development for custom furniture, lighting, decor, and props used during the show. The ideal candidate will also provide aid and support to the Design Directors during all design documentation and production phases.
They will also be responsible for designing shop drawings, construction drawings, and other related documentation needed for construction and development. Experience and expertise in hand drawings, model making, and advanced CAD and 3D software use are a must.
Spiegelworld shares in their job ad: "The ICT leads the design and creative on internal projects driven from immersive theatrical productions to restaurants to custom furniture and scenic elements. The ICT is composed of architects and interior designers, art directors, creative producers, and writers. The ideal candidate will be ready to collaborate from concept through execution to maintain a comprehensive patron experience centered on a theatrical narrative."

If anywhere but Vegas I would be on this like flies on honey.
You might be in luck: it's listed as a remote position. Per their job description: "The position may be primarily remote; there will be an ongoing activity in Las Vegas and New York."
Thank you for pointing that out!
