Thomas Jefferson University's College of Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) continues its lecture series and welcomes an amazing line-up of speakers through out the month of November. On October 12th the university will welcome Brian Sims, Principal at Houseal-Levigne as he discusses "Geodesign + Urban Design: Scenario Planning Tools for Smart and Healthy Cities."
Following Sims' lecture the institution will launch its 2020 Smart and Healthy Cities Forum on October 14th and 15th. This two-day virtual event will discuss topics such as housing, policy making, and smart cities. Guest panelists include Jeremy Avelliino of Bright Common, Eli Spevak of Orange Splot, Anton Germishuizen Architect, Senior Vice President, Buildings at Stantec among others.
Other notable guest lecturers include Sara Jensen Carr Asst. Prof of Architecture, Urbanism, and Landscape at Northeastern University and Jessica Henson of OLIN. Concluding their 2020 Fall Lecture series the school presents the Transient Spaces Panel Discussion on November 9th.
