California State Polytechnic University, Pomona seeks a Tenure-Track Faculty Position - Landscape Architecture
The university invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin Fall 2020. The successful candidate will teach landscape architecture courses and subjects across the curricula throughout the BSLA and MLA programs.  The position requires particular emphasis within the areas of plant ecology and design, urban ecology, site engineering and sustainable technologies and/or landscape performance. Applicants must have a terminal degree in landscape architecture or related fields (e.g., MLA, MARC or PhD); and be capable of teaching at the university level, pursuing scholarship or creative activities, and contributing to the diversity and excellence of the academic community. 

University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) seeks an Architectural Design Manager
Reporting to the Housing Project Management Director, the Design Studio Manager will have management responsibility for planning, staffing, organizing, supervising, and controlling all internal design services provided by Housing Project Management. Provide oversight and guidance to staff professionals for planning, renovation and new construction projects and evaluate their performance; frequent review of and travel to work sites, requiring ability to climb ladders, walk and work in various rough graded sites, and lifting/lowering of weighted objects. Serve as the executive architect who has professional signatory authority on all construction documents developed by staff professionals.

Clemson University seeks a Director of the School of Architecture
Clemson University invites nominations and applications for the position of Director of the School of Architecture. The School of Architecture (SoA) is situated within the College of Architecture, Arts and Humanities (CAAH) which offers a rich environment for creative initiatives and interdisciplinary collaborations. The Director will offer leadership to support the ongoing mission of excellence in teaching, public service and research for allied disciplines engaged in addressing the significant challenges facing the built environments of the 21st century. This is a 12-month position.

University of Virginia seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor of Architectural Design and a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Architectural Design
The successful candidate for the position will demonstrate the promise of excellence in architectural design and be actively involved in the advancement of a cutting edge design practice. Applicants should show a record of excellence in practice and dissemination of creative work through built work, exhibitions and publications. Candidates should hold at a minimum, a professional master’s degree in architecture, and be qualified through advanced scholarly work and practice.

Ball State University seeks an Assistant Research Professor of Architecture
“Design Innovation Fellow” contract faculty position available starting August 17, 2020 for the 2020-21 academic year, renewable for an additional year upon favorable intermediate review. The fellowship intends to support individuals committed to expanding and advancing the culture of architecture and design through creative practice or research. Major responsibilities include teaching in our professional graduate and/or undergraduate architecture programs including a design studio as well as a lecture/seminar course that could support the applicant’s research agenda. The preferred area of fellow investigation is emerging design media such as industrial robotics and contemporary fabrication techniques.

The University of Texas at Arlington seeks an Assistant Professor
The College of Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs (CAPPA) at the University of Texas at Arlington seeks applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in Architecture to be hired for Fall of 2020 at the rank of assistant professor. For this position, we seek applicants with a focus on design-build. An additional interest in community engagement is encouraged. The candidate who fills this position will be expected to teach courses related to design-build and provide leadership of the expanding design-build program and its curriculum as well as serve on departmental, college, and university committees.

University of Minnesota-Twin Cities seeks Head of School of Architecture
The successful candidate will have a clearly defined and dynamic vision for the future of the discipline, knowledge of architectural practice and teaching, and insight into the profession’s role in meeting the challenges of a diverse and changing world. The Head of the School will articulate positions and practices with regard to the role of architecture in a future characterized by rapid social, ecological, and technological transformation. This is a 100%-time, 12-month, academic administrative appointment at the level of Head with Faculty Rank (#9361), with an initial appointment of three years.

The University of New Mexico seeks an Assistant Professor for Architecture
The UNM Department of Architecture seeks applicants for two Assistant Professor of Architecture positions. We invite applications for a full-time faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor probationary appointment, leading to a tenure decision. Applications received on or before December 9, 2019 will have best consideration. The positions will remain open until filled. The appointments commence August 10, 2020. The successful candidates will teach two architectural design studios during the academic year (one graduate and one undergraduate), as well as a required lecture/seminar course in our curriculum, and a seminar focused on their scholarly or research agenda.   

James Madison University seeks an Assistant Professor of Architectural Design
The School of Art, Design and Art History at James Madison University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Architectural Design. The successful candidate will teach architectural design studios plus courses in history, theory, representation, and/or materials and methods of contemporary architectural design. The position is a 10-month annual appointment. In order to participate in our collaborative community, there is an expectation that the successful candidate will be on campus and available to students 4 days per week during the academic year and serve the program and school. 

New York Institute of Technology seeks Workshop Assistant
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in related field and significant experience in fabrication in an academic and/or professional settings. Experience operating three or more of the following digital fabrication systems: 3D printing, CNC milling, laser cutting, and vacuum forming is required. Some responsibilities include reporting to the Director of Digital Technologies and Fabrication this position will be responsible for daily operations of an integrated analog and digital fabrication shop in New York City.

Santa Monica College seeks a Tenure Track Instructor in Interior Architecture
The Design Technology Department is seeking a tenure-track faculty position in the Interior Architectural Design program to teach advanced courses in Interior Architectural Design as well as courses in Architecture.  This individual will be responsible for teaching beginning, intermediate and advanced courses in Digital Communications, Design Studios, and Construction Materials and Methods. They will also facilitate the development of the new Architecture program curriculum including developing and teaching online courses.
