For their Fall '19 lecture series, the USC School of Architecture will explore timely topics that include sustainability, race, and heritage preservation in design. The series kicks off with a conversation between USC Architecture Dean Milton S. F. Curry and LACMA Director Michael Govan on August 28. The lineup also features architect Kunlé Adeyemi, artist and filmmaker Doug Aitken, Jennifer Newsom of Dream the Combine, Gregg Pasquarelli of SHoP Architects, and more.
The Fall '19 lecture series marks the debut of “Conversations,” a series of intimate discussions between two prominent leaders in the art, architecture, and design industries. On September 11, the first “Conversations” will feature Jose Castillo and Saidee Springall, co-founders of Mexico City-based practice a | 911.
