Our latest recap starts with leading design practice Martha Schwartz Partners, whose currently hiring a Landscape Architect/Designer with a minimum of five years of relevant experience and will support projects in all design phases.
Reputable engineering design firm Eckersley O’Callaghan is currently seeking a Technical Architect / Facade Engineer to join their growing San Francisco team. The candidate will be “an experienced Architect/Facade Engineer with a range of technical design expertise to lead the envelope design on a variety of high-profile local and international projects”.
Created in 2012 by architects John Meachem and Ben Loescher, Loescher Meachem Architects currently have two entry-level job listings. The LA-based firm is seeking a Junior Architectural Designer who is “motivated, diligent, and takes an interest in both the design and technical details of a project”.
They're also seeking a creative and motivated architecture undergrad/grad student to join their team as a Fall Intern. The chosen candidate will have the chance to work on projects as a fully collaborative member of the team, from initial design studies to construction documentation.
With roots in Southern California, Abramson Architects in Culver City is looking to hire a passionate and driven Project Architect “with 10 years’ experience in commercial and institutional buildings and some high-ruse multi-family projects. Candidate must have a deep knowledge about major building systems and a strong background in detailing”.
Led by founder Michele Busiri-Vici and current principal Clementina Ruggieri, Space4Architecture in New York takes a nonhierarchical approach to design and works across different scale and typologies. Right now, they're hiring a Project Architect with at least 3 years of experience in residential and/or retail projects in the U.S. “Problem solving skills, coordination of all trades, familiarity with local codes and construction site experience are a must.”
