Sergio Mannino Studio recently completed a pharmacy retail project in Brooklyn. The space is a flagship for Medly, a healthcare startup offering a more efficient and enjoyable way for the community to order prescription medicine via an app.
Medly's goal for the waiting room was to encourage face-to-face consultations between healthcare professionals and the community rather than long lines to collect medication.
Two large vinyl leather and chrome benches occupy the waiting room, each seating four people.
A corrugated, perforated screen runs along the rear wall to partition off the administration area, where the prescriptions are sorted. In total, the space measures 1,900 square feet.
