For Spring '18, the theme of the University at Buffalo School of Architecture + Planning's lecture series is “Border Crossing”.
“In the context of today's political climate, and in the border city of Buffalo, the program explores how borders can be productively transgressed through a number of discursive positions and practices, operating between territories, cultures, and ideologies. This series of speakers emphasizes the importance and urgency for transnational cross-pollination in architecture and planning and celebrates the positive impact of immigrants and citizens from diverse backgrounds.”
