He calls critics “dismissive” and “disdainful.” He accuses architects of “misguided political correctness,” and says they are guilty of “confusing architecture and art.”
Schumacher has turned his criticism on his own practice, rolling out plans for what he calls “Parametricism 2.0,” to better address the human factors like productivity, social interaction, culture, and well-being that detractors used to say Hadid ignored. “I have to step up,” Schumacher says. “I will build my own star power.”

I would love to see his algorithm for history and culture... that must be a doozy.

they are going to be out of business in 6 months.
His approach is similar to Andres Duany's. They want to create dogmatic systems and isms that limit innovation and creativity.
creativity is the enemy - as is the case in most offices
There are some interesting ideas of using data as a creative tool, but Schumacher talks so simplistically it pushes the architect out of the picture completely. Maybe there is a day when AI is intelligent enough to take over, but when that day comes there will be no more architecture, and probably no more humans, as architecture is defined as being a human endeavor for humans.
I get the impression that Zaha tolerated Schumacher when he was managing projects and getting stuff done, but would probably find much to critique about his dubious philosophies.
parametricism is a tool for architects - not to make architects tools of parametrics - but with the "regime" change in the US under way - economic expediency will force the issue
