Wonderful article.
Despite the fact that I love cars myself, I do, and have long agreed with many of the articles points. It's a huge shame that the interests of an industry far outweigh those of the people, and how much our lives are negatively affected by something that should bring convenience, but more often brings misery through unnecessary expense, sprawl and wasted time in traffic.
It's interesting that a country like the US that has such an unhealthy dependence on the car, produces some of the most pathetic cars.
