With a list of over 90 participants and partners including U.K.-based Assemble, Jimenez Lai, Jeanne Gang, Archinect and Sou Fujimoto, the inaugural Chicago Architecture Biennial will open to the public on October 3rd. Officially billed as "North America’s largest international survey of contemporary architecture," the Biennial will feature a variety of installations, exhibitions, and events, which perhaps figures into the concept behind the freshly released teaser trailer (which we've embedded below): gradually intersecting red grid lines meet over famous Chicago landmarks, including Anish Kapoor's "bean" or Cloud Gate.
