Nouvel’s aspirations for 53W53, scheduled for completion in fall 2018, sound almost modest: “It’s going to try to hold its place, [...]
It’s going to try to be good enough for New York … it’s going to try to make its own small contribution, and it’s done in a way that ensures this contribution is readable, understandable, and it’s maybe a bit more precious than others. And it’s a little linked to this notion – a fairly disputed notion these days – that architecture is still an art, sometimes.”

When a good plumber is an artist I suppose Jean Nouvel can be one too. Although how a sliver tower of ultra luxury condos can be anything other than shit I don't know.
Oh - wait, I get it now. It's the art of consumption.

Its probably filled with con-artists
Even though MoMA is evil, Nouvel's is one of the few new towers with any artistry and designers touch. Def has some nice interior shots.
And funded by Asians, so you know it's gonna have some nice feng shui.
It actually doesn't. Angular steel structures through out the building diffract chi and work negatively also to the neighboring properties. (similar to Bank of China building in Hong Kong .1990) some Feng S
hui concerned Asian investors are staying away from the museum tower(a 52-story condominium on top of MoMa) due to this tower construction.
Nouvel looks like Dr. Evil.
