The Iridium Tower will be a 100 meter tall office tower in Mumbai, India.
With sustainability as a major component of this new commercial office
building, the project will include brise soleil, natural ventilation, terraces,
and a roof garden. In addition, the orientation of the building will
minimize solar heat gains from east to west. There will be unobstructed
views (from the northeast portion of the building) of the Mountains of
the Sanjay Gandhi National Park nearby, which is a 104 square kilometer
park with an estimated 800 types of flowering plants; 284 kinds of birds,
5,000 species of insects, 36 types of mammals, 50 reptiles, and 150 species
of butterflies.
