Old house to be renovated to accommodate a restaurant to cater to nearby university.
Clients are sisters wanting to serve the nearby university with meals in a relaxing environment. Encouraging students' tendency to loiter and study.
Required the area to be light, airy and whimsical. One that could carry the name, Milk&Honey.
Refurbishing existing furniture, such as the existing piano and railings on location, and repair works on some wall and floor areas.
Renovations necessary to accommodate new kitchen and counter area, also to increase ceiling height at one side of the dining area. Repainting and refinishing on some areas to compliment the new design.
Frontage/Entrance restricted to smaller side road because of the existing rented area at actual frontage.
(The residence had already been used for commercial purposes before, to a novelty furniture store, this time the clients wanted to utilize the rest of the ground floor area as a test drive to see if a restaurant, nevermind expanding the it up to the second floor, is feasible.)
