    Jose Oubrerie: The Chapel of Mosquitoes Exhibition at The Knowlton School

    Jose Oubrerie, the last living protégé of Le Corbusier, is a Professor Emeritus of Architecture at the Knowlton School, presents The Chapel of Mosquitoes, an exhibition in Knowlton's Banvard Gallery. The Exhibition will continue to  February 25, 2016  at 5:00pm.

    The exhibition presents three paintings in addition to three buildings. These projects span around 43 years each dealing with fundamental architectural elements including light and shade, enclosure and opening, and stasis and movement. 

    The three projects featured in the exhibition include: 

    The Chapel of the Mosquitoes
    Dutchess County, New York, 2015

    The Miller House
    Lexington, Kentucky, 1991

    The French Cultural Center
    Damascus, Syria, 1972

    • Looks like a great exhibit! Glad to see Jose getting (more) recognition! (Especially good to see Damascus, which he only ever showed in blurry slides when I was at the KSA....)
