We are seeking an exceptional junior designer to join our team in New York.

About us:

VCA is an architecture firm based in Manhattan. We design for greater inclusion by recognizing and embracing the neurodiverse world we live in. We work with public and private institutions to create places for learning, working, and living.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in all phases of the project’s design, documentation, and execution
• Collaborate closely with the project team
• Create design iterations and documentation in two and three dimensions, using Revit
• Create client presentations
• Participate in design meetings and site visits; synthesize feedback; prepare meeting minutes; coordinate and update project documentation to reflect decisions
• Assist with research
• Support with administrative tasks

Qualifications:

• A professional degree in architecture from an accredited institution
• Minimum 3 years of working experience
• Strong Revit skills, including minimum 3 years of Revit in a work environment
• Strong design and representation skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
• Detail-oriented, precise, and punctual
