We are seeking a highly motivated and design-oriented Project Architect to join our cultural and institutional studio to work on education projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in all phases of new building design from SD through CA in a leadership role within a collaborative team. This is a hands-on role with room to grow professionally and as part of a community of engaged architects and designers.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor or Master of Architecture Degree
• 8 - 12 years professional experience
• Experience working with educational clients; projects with NYCPS, Independent or Charter K-12 schools a plus
• Outstanding design, planning, and technical skills
• Excellent analytical and technical skills, including a deep understanding of NYC zoning and building code, Construction Set development, and detailing ability
• Proficient in all phases of design and construction
• Team management experience; Motivated, articulate, and detail-oriented
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, 3d Studio Max, Enscape, and/or Rhino
• Authorization to work in the US

Compensation

Salary $80,000 -$115,000 commensurate with experience.
