We seek a full-time Senior Architectural Designer with a minimum of 10 years of post-graduate, professional experience. Candidate should have extensive experience in high-end residential renovations in New York City, with a specific focus on restoring historic Upper East Side co-op apartments. Applicants should possess exceptional, demonstrated design talent, be self-driven and motivated, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a Master’s degree in architecture.
  • Work closely with the principal and senior staff on all project phases, from schematic design through construction administration.
  • Engage in design studies, digital modeling, product and material research.
  • Possess excellent organizational, writing, and verbal communications skills.
  • Be a strong team player who is genuinely able to work collaboratively.
  • Have well-developed strategic and critical thinking abilities.
  • Engage in design studies, digital modeling, product, and material research.
  • Posses a strong ability to work collaboratively, with potential for leadership.
  • Understand building codes, space and site considerations, and client requirements to determine their impact on architectural designs
  • Coordinate with engineering and specialty consultants to integrate their work.
  • Produce construction documents, including details and material specifications.
  • Be proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, and Enscape.
