We are seeking an exceptional project architect to join our team in New York.

About us:

Verona Carpenter Architects is an architecture firm based in Manhattan. We design for greater inclusion by recognizing and embracing the neurodiverse world we live in. We work with public and private institutions to create places for learning, working, and living.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the design and documentation of projects at different scales, typically more than one at a time, across all project phases.
• Manage projects and maintain strong communication with internal and external team members.
• Develop technical solutions and details.
• Mentor more junior staff.

Qualifications:

• A professional degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
• Professional licensure in New York State.
• 12-15 years of work experience.
• Strong design and technical skills; able to independently produce construction documents and details.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and management skills.
• Strong Revit skills.
