Join Our Team as an Architect/Designer

We are seeking motivated designers (8+ years) to join our dynamic firm and gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and creative environment.

WAU - Watchorn Architecture & Urbanism, is a full-service architecture and urban design practice based in New York City working across residential, commercial, and institutional projects. Our design approach is driven by a curiosity for new organizational typologies that offer new ways of living, working, and engaging with one another.

What You'll Do:

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams through all project phases, from initial concept to project completion and closeout.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to align project goals and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and other project deliverables.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of design and construction excellence.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility requirements.

Who You Are:

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Have 8+ years of experience in creative design firms.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex projects from inception through to completion.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate project teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and project tracking.
