Join Our Team as an Architect/Designer

We are seeking motivated designers (1-3 years) to join our dynamic firm and gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and creative environment.

Who We Are:

WAU - Watchorn Architecture & Urbanism, is a full-service architecture and urban design practice based in New York City working across residential, commercial, and institutional projects. Our design approach is driven by a curiosity for new organizational typologies that offer new ways of living, working, and engaging with one another.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with senior architects and designers on all stages of project development, from concept design through to construction administration.
• Contribute ideas and solutions that challenge conventional thinking and elevate project outcomes.
• Utilize software including Rhino, V-Ray, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Cloud to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam to develop detailed construction drawing sets.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and documentation for client meetings and regulatory approvals.

Who You Are:

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Have 1-3 years of experience in creative design firms.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.
• Critical thinker with a passion for challenging convention.
• Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative team environment and can articulate design concepts clearly.
