As we continue to expand our portfolio, we are seeking a talented Senior Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Designer with a passion for modern residential design. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on high-end residential projects in New York City and the Hamptons, demonstrating a strong portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions and meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design process from concept development through to construction documentation for high-end modern residential projects.
Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to translate design concepts into executable plans.
Conduct site visits and provide oversight during the construction phase to ensure design intent is maintained.
Mentor and guide junior staff members, providing support and fostering their professional growth.
Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and best practices to ensure designs meet regulatory requirements and client expectations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
8+ years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on high-end modern residential projects in NYC and the Hamptons.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
Extensive familiarity with NYC & NYS Building Codes, zoning regulations, construction techniques and detailing, as well as working knowledge of related engineering disciplines and project administration practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, proactive and effective leadership skills with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
Must be based in the New York City metro area and have legal authorization to work in the US.
